Through the adoption of the 2001 Plan of activity - Regional Law n.35/90, the Regione Lazio has entrusted the BIC Lazio with the duty to promote an integrated system of information, training and technical assistance services. The system is aimed at improving the capabilities of accessing and using the COMMUNITY PROGRAMMES by the different regional actors (institutions, authorities, enterprises, associations). The LAZIOEUROPA web site, realized in close cooperation with the European Union Relations Area and with the Direction Room - Coordination of Structural Funds of the Region, is actually the main instrument for the information diffusion and the assistance to the operators.

The web site is enriched by two specific sections dedicated to the programmes co-financed by the Structural Funds. These sections provide the basic information and the suitable cross-references to the institutionally appropriate authorities that ensure the information and assistance services eventually needed by the users. The two sections are available on the home Page at the links "Community Initiatives" and "Innovative Actions".

The training, following the project's aims, will be provided by seminars focused on the difficulties in the planning of community projects. The programme of the courses, as well as the enrolment form, is available on the Home Page at the link Training Activities.

The information will be supported by the organization of specific meetings and events.
