The focus of the new cohesion policy on the interregional cooperation underlines how the INTERREG Community Initiative Programme has to be considered as an instrument to face economic and social disparities and to consent an harmonious and balanced integration of all the 25 Countries in the enlarged European Union.
Aware of the changes that will take place in the next programming period, Lazio Region intends to promote and to strengthen the growth, the competitiveness, the cohesion and the sustainable development of its own territory even by stimulating and supporting the setting up of INTERREG III C projects (interregional cooperation).
The "Coordination of European policies" regional structure has the intention to promote a "Virtual Forum" dedicated to the INTERREG III C call for proposals (8 of March - 30th of April). This instrument aims to ease the work of the regional Directions involved in the projects drafting, by increasing mutual exchanges with partners and defining all the contents of the project in a quick way.
