The Departmental Structure has the duty to support the director of the Economy and Employment Department in the following functions:
- to assure the integration between the European policies of cohesion, cooperation and sectorial
- to coordinate the regional officers towards the accomplishment of the no structural European policies
- to participate in the various national and international offices about the European policies of cohesion, cooperation and sectorial
- to guide the regional structures for the application to programmes co-financed by no structural European funds
